 Located at the corner of Tropicana and the Strip, MGM Grand is a virtual city of entertainment unto itself. Built upon a huge scale that few resort-casinos in Las Vegas can rival, this luxury hotel has been compared to a big-budget film. No place in Las Vegas offers as many entertainment venues as the MGM Grand. The Hollywood Theatre hosts major performing acts on most nights of the week. Their special effects musical spectacular, Studio 54, a re- creation of the classic New York Disco, offers music and dancing until the early morning hours. Another great attraction at this spectacular resort is the famous Lion Habitat. Other onsite amenities include a full service day spa, a wedding chapel, and of course, a large pool area. And now guests can check into their rooms from the airport! This landmark check-in station is located between Terminals C and D near S Baggage Claim and is open from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily.
Guest rooms at the MGM grand are more luxurious than the Las Vegas norm. Emerald Tower rooms have a casually warm, art deco décor and ceramic tile bathrooms. The larger Grand Tower rooms are 450 square feet in area, classically decorated and equipped with custom, black & white marble bathrooms. 24-Hour room service is available as are 16 restaurants, some featuring celebrity chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Mark Miller and Emeril Lagasse. The MGM Grand offers onsite fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues. Guests must be atleast 18 years or older to check in.
